DREAMS and SPIRITUALITY: Rev. Deborah Johnson

“Dreams have always been part of the raw stuff of knowledge and wisdom when you look at indigenous cultures. It’s a little haughty of us to think that the modern technologies we have that are barely 100 to 200 years old can be THE source of knowledge. What do we think people have been doing for hundreds of thousands of years? We are part of an unbroken chain of life since the beginning of humanity. We have the DNA of the survivors. There is so much about us than just our identities and our past experiences. We transcend all of that. In the dream state we’re not bound by time-space. We have capacities beyond anything we can possibly imagine. I believe this with all my heart.”
